Hi my name is Clay, and I am in Mr.Miller’s 6th grade class. This post is about volunteer work. We are doing this for the Edublog Challenge week six.  I would volunteer for a program called Keep Monterey County Clean.  This program tries to keep Monterey County.  This is important to me because I want to save the animals. A way you can save an animal is to not litter. Littering can kill a dolphin because it might think a plastic bag is a jelly fish and eat it. It could also kill other animals also by them eating a plastic bag and choking. In return we would have a much cleaner county.  A way you can help is to not litter or if you see garbage pick it up and put it in a a trash can.  We don’t want our county to look like this.

In this post I will talk about being in the war of Salamis with Persia and Athens, and I am a Persian solder. My name is Petros I am a rower of a Persian boat. I got into this war by being forced into it, and because I was a Persian man.  He all been sent to war to take over the Athens.

Once we got here the Athenians  had fled Athens. We wore forced to fight at sea. We thought we would just wait until they came out but some one told us that they wore not prepared to fight. He had been tricked when we came around the corner 200 ships ware waiting for us to come and fight. It was to late to turn around. There ware to many boat for us to have room to turn. Right then you could here the Athenians coming to kill us. I was in the third row of boats. My brother was in the second row. I could smell the blood of or own solders. Watching the boats sink hearing the screaming of my own friends get hit by the rams of the Athenians.  Then it happened I watched my own bother fall out of his boat with blood falling down his face. I jumped out to save him I don’t now what I was thinking but I just went for it. I got hit by falling bodies. I could smell the death of falling solders. It was all worth it when I found my brother though. He was barely alive. I swam him over too one of the boats the was still floating. He made it out alive it was a ho memory for me and my brother. I can still smell the blood hear the yelling and screaming.

Have you heard of the boy Spencer who had the worst fear ever it was Tebo the monster. One night you heard spencer weeping with fear.

“Please don’t hurt me PLEASE !”Screamed Spencer!

He stayed up until 12 o’clock for the next few night. Leaving him with little sleep with made his mom worry.

“Leave me alone take any thing just not ME,”Yelled Spencer

One night he got so scared that he jumped out of bed and ran for his life.

“AAAAAAAAAAAAA mommy help me,”Yelled Spencer!

Once he told her what happened the monster slipped into the dark. His mom and him stayed up most of the night with made him do bad in school. Finally his  family decided to move. This didn’t help because a monster came and terrorized his little sister. Was it the same monster? The world may never know! What would you do?

We also leaned how to find the area of a triangle. We also learned perimeter this week. We learned how to find perimeter squares and rectangles. Another thing we learned to do was circumference. We learned how to find  circumference of a circle. I didn’t think math was to hard this week. I would like to hear what you have learned in math this week.Thank you for visiting my blog I hope you will again.

Hi my name is Clay, and I am in Mr.Miller’s 6th grade class. This post is
going to be about me as a spartan boy at the age of 18.

Dear Mum and Dad,
I am writing this letter to let you know how proud of Sparta I am. I think hav

ing to grow up with many letters has made us a lot better army, because of the laws of having to go train at the age of 7 util 20. Then at the age of 20 we all go to war. We will stay in war util 30 years old then we get to come home if we are still a live. We are really in the army until the age of 60. I am also thankful that I grow up in a society that you have to be fit to be in war because that has made me be a lot more healthy. I now we will only get stronger with all the training that we do for 13 years before we enter the army.

Compared to the city stat Athens Sparta is amazing because of all the army we have. Athens cares about school such as math and science more then there army. They are to weak to defeat SPARTA because of the weak army they have, and we have a grate army prepared and trained for war. The future is strong for Sparta with this amazing army we have. Thank you for viewing my blog I hope you will visit again.

Love,Spiridon Marinos

Hi my name is Clay, and I am in Mr.Millers 6th grade class. One assignment I had this week was to create a fake Facebook page about myself 10 years from now. We did this post so we could see ware we would be in our life. What carer I have and were I will be living. It also shows what I will be doing and what I want to do for my job. It was also just to have fun with or computers, and a creative assignment.

I have many plans for myself in the next 10 years. I would like to go to Oregon University, and play baseball for there Ducks. I would also like to go to school for forestry. While I am going to school I hope I will be able to get drafted to AAA baseball, and play for the Reading Phillies. If I don’t make it in baseball I will be happy to be in the forestry. I think being in the forestry would be fun because you would be able to go in to the mountains and maintain the fires from expanding.Thank you for viewing my blog I hope you will again!!!!

Hi my name is Clay, and I am in Mr.Millers 6th grade class. In this post I will be telling my self advice from the future at the age of 65 to my present day life. The 65 years of life has had its ups and downs. The greatest part of my life was when I got to go on a giant tour with all my friends we went to Hawaii, Alaska, Australia, and to Italy. It was very expensive, but it was definitely worth it. The worst part of my life was when I lost my job for 2 years, and could not find one because of economy.

If I could do any thing different it would be to try harder at all the sports I do. Maybe I could go pro in one of the sports I do , and not have to not have a job for two years. One thing I did right was to go to collage, but if I wouldn’t have gone on my big trip I might have been able t0 pay for a better collage then Hartnell collage such as Cal Berkeley. I think I have accomplished most of my lifelong goals by this age . To accomplish all of my lifelong goals you will need to work hard at every thing you want to succeed in what you want to do.

Hi my name is Clay, and I am in Miss.Jud’s 6th grade math class this year. This week I have learned probability. An example of probability is it has rained  5 out of 10 days. What is the Probability that it will rain the next day? The answer would 50% because 10 goes into 5.00 .5 times bit to tern it in to a percent you have to move the decimal two spaces left and add the percent sign. I have also learned theoretical probability this week.Theoretical probability is the number of total out comes there would be possible. An example of theoretical probability is if you had 1 yellow paper 1 red paper, 1 purple paper, and had a spinier that had 7 numbers on it you could have a total of 21 out comes. I got this answer because I just multiplied 7 times 3 and the answer was 21 one. That is what I have learned this week. I hope you will keep checking in on my blog thank you.
